Raid Rules

Please note the following addons are Required for raiding:

– Boss Mod of your Choice – Bigwigs or DBM
– WeakAuras – Specific boss scripts will be used
– Exorsus Raid Tools
– MaxDPS (and Class Module) Optional

These are the most basic addons required for the raid. Please download and install them.

The following rules are now going to be enforced:
All Raiders need to install Discord and join the channel
All Raiders to bring Potions and Flasks – if you are unsure of what to bring ask a member of the raid leader team
All Addons listed above are required to raid
All raiders need to be on time. If the raid is scheduled to start at 730 you need to be ready at 700. If you are late and no notice given you will not be invited.
If you are not signed up you will not be invited
All raiders need to be aware of the fights. I have listed guides below and you are expected to read them and understand them.
All Raiders need a minimum of ilvl 445 and DPS of 30K sustained. This is for both Normal and Heroic. Minimum ilvl for Mythic is 465 and 45K DPS
All enchants and Gems that can be equipped are added to your items.
Prospective raiders need to show commitment to schedule times.

These rules are now going into force because of the lack of understanding and progression over the past 3 weeks. If you sign up to the raid then you are accepting the above rules.

Guild Officer Meeting August 4

A few small changes we decided upon
We have removed the Loyal rank – ranks are now as follows – Initiate, Member, Veteran and Officer
Ranking as follows – Initiate to Member 4 weeks, Member to Veteran 12 weeks (or at Officers discretion)
Non actives unless given prior notice will be removed
Initiates after 3 months , all others after 12 months – this due to the fact we had a huge amount of players in guild that had been inactive for more than 1 year – some more than 2
Officer rank will revert to Veteran if away for 12 months and no prior message to let us know if they will be back or not . We have done this in past and its nothing personal against the Officer – just the need to replace with active members
Officers now only have two of their toons ranked as Officer -as mentioned before this is simplify things and make it easier for people to know who the officers are – til now every Officer’s alt was ranked as well giving us a list on roster of over 105 names ranked as officer
Bank allowances have stayed the same – if you have reached your allowance feel free to message an officer who will send on the items (at their discretion)
Guild repairs – til now Initiates were set at 40, Members 80, Loyal 100, Vets 200 and Officers 400
They are now set at Initiates 50, Members 100, Vets and Officers 200
The Guilds main focus is and always will be as a casual social levelling guild and this will not change
However we do have a small group of people interested in progressing through Raids and Mythic keys and have decide that to do this we need step up a bit on that front for those people – a set of ‘rules’ has been listed in Guild discord under Raid Information under pinned messages. People wishing to join for Heroic will need to commit to these.
Flasks and potions are essential – if you cannot make these we have Alchemists in guild who can – please help by supplying mats –
If not a herbalist you could balance this out by providing meat fish etc to go towards food in exchange for flasks etc
We will still be running casual normals and are thinking of starting with the very first current raids (ie Uldir – which we have never done as a guild) and working our way up
We will be running mythic keys twice weekly – Lower keys on one night and higher the next
We will be opening our guild for a short while to recruit new members – this through Guild Finder
Guild has three rules we ask people to comply with-
1 – Respect others – please remember everyone is an individual with their own individual way of thinking
2 – Please try and keep profanity in guild chat to a minimum
3 – Racial slurs and comments will not be tolerated  – the same for comments directed towards anyone’s personal lifestyle choices (ie sexuality, religion )

Auction House and Mailbox changes for 8.3

New Auction House coming in 8.3 plus a small change to Mailboxes

Layout is similar but simpler
You can now additems into personal favourites by rightclicking an item you have searched for and adding it to favourites – these will appear on your front page when you load AH
Useful filters added-
Uncollected Only – will help search for any transmogs, recipes or peys you have not collected
Upgrades only – Find weapons and armour upgrades

Auction tabs at bottom have been reorganised into Buy , Sell and Auctions
Buying – Once you have searched for your items, the buy window shows you what is available and the quantity and price is shown on the right.
The sellers names are no longer shown and you will automatically buy the cheapest available. You can either type in the quantity you need or left-click the quantities on the right to buy that quantity AND all the cheaper ones above.
Stacks – The concept of stacks is no longer necessary. You buy and sell in the amount you want.

Selling – The Sell tab has been simplified, especially for commodities as there is no Bid option for them
You can either type in your own price or by default, the cheapest will be selected, the names and/or number of sellers will be shown on the right. Multiple of the same item will have an option to specify the amount. Non-commodities such as equipment also have the option to specify a bid amount.

Last In, First Out – A note about the new LIFO system. This has been talked about a lot in the gold making community. Blizzard want to encourage players to match the cheapest price rather than undercut all the time. You will note the copper amount is no longer available to further discourage this. Whilst the first impression may be that this doesn’t seem fair to the person who posted first, it helps prevent the auction list becoming a long list of similar prices. It favours the buyer for a cleaner interface.

Auctions Tab – Once you have placed your auctions, you can manage them in the third tab at the bottom
Your auctions will all be shown as a list with the remaining duration visible, any Bids you have made can be managed in the Bids tab at the top.
Also, whilst you are searching for auctions, any items where you have your own auctions posted will show as a green tick in the listing.
The Mailbox

And finally, the Mailbox has not been left out in this overhaul. The maximum capacity has been increased to 100, the refresh rate has been reduced to 15 seconds and all AH mail purchases of the same item have been condensed into one mail!

Through Dec 31, 2019, Blizzard will donate 100% of the purchase price of Dottie to be shared equally with Make-A-Wish and WE.org. So to help support a good cause we have decided to offer up this super cute and cuddly pet for a New Years Eve draw

We will use list used over Christmas keeping the same numbers for each person.

To be eligible you must have logged in to game during month of December – BUT –
We realise we had quite a few new members who joined during first 2 weeks – some of those have not been back to play – we will be checking roster and removing those names from the draw – they must have played in the 10 days leading up to and ending on NYE.
This is to keep things fair for our regular players
People not on list will be added if they log in before 9 pm server time New Years Eve

Draw will be 10pm realm time
Reemar will be doing the Draw and sending out code to redeem pet

Shadowlands Covenants

Covenants are the four powers governing over the Shadowlands – each covenant governing a specific zone of the Shadowlands
There is a fifth zone called The Maw – A zone that serves a prison for the most vile souls, the domain ruled by the Jailer of the Damned.
Your mission in the Shadowlands will be to choose one Covenant and help restore them to their former glory. Each Covenant has specific rewards such as abilities tailored after each Covenant and cosmetic rewards.

Bastion – Kyrian Covenant
In the zone of Bastion, you will meet with the Kyrian covenant. Ordered and purposeful, the Kyrian are souls that move on to become noble beings such as Spirit Healers or even full-blown Val’kyr. Souls that are sent into Bastion are ones that have gone through harsh burdens in life and seek the Kyrian to regain their virtue.
A famous soul that has found their way to Bastion and the Kyrian is that of Uther the Lightbringer, who was murdered by crown prince Arthas Menethil while defending the ashes of his father, King Terenas Menethil II.
Maldraxxus – Necrolord Covenant
Maldraxxus is a darker zone within the Shadowlands, where you will meet the Necrolord covenant. As the Necrolords believe in survival of the fittest above all, they are not inherently evil, just struggling for survival within the Shadowlands. Because of this resourcefulness, the Necrolord Convenant is considered to be the heart of the military in the Shadowlands.
The Necrolords are necrotic soldiers who wage war throughout the cosmos.
A famous soul that is aligned with the Necrolords is that of Draka, murdered by Gul’dan’s Shadow Council forces after giving birth to Thrall.

Ardenweald – Night Fae Covenant
Ardenweald is an enchanted magical forest, considered to be a darkened reflection of the Emerald Dream in Azeroth. Ardenweald and the Night Fae Covenant believe that the journey in the Shadowlands is not the end, and focus on resting their souls to prepare for rebirth and continue their purpose in the world.
The Night Fae are defenders of nature who uphold the cycle of rebirth.
A famous soul aligned with the Night Fae is that of the demigod Cenarius, who was corrupted by the Nightmare and purified in the Emerald Nightmare raid

Revendreth – Venthyr Covenant
Souls that were flawed and prideful in life end up in Revendreth, a zone full of gothic architecture and secrets that reflect the dark tone of the zone. In Revendreth, we find the Venthyr Covenant, who assist souls sent there that are attempting to atone for their sins in life.
The Venthyr are eaters of sin who harvest anima from wicked souls.
One of the famous souls you can find aligned with the Venthyr is that of Kael’thas Sunstrider, former Lord of the Blood Elves, who died in Magister’s Terrace after falling from grace by following the Legion.

Each Covenant comes with its own unique rewards only useable if belonging to the Covenant (You can change Covenants but will be costly)

General Covenant abilities have been announced as interesting ways to explore the world, and as tools to solve problems without the need for fighting. As these abilities are to be used to dodge fights, they are all straight utility abilities, allowing you to explore the world in different ways-

Kyrian – Unburden: Dissolve into pure anima, increasing your movement speed to 300%, slowing your falling speed, and propelling you forward for 4 sec. Greatly reduces the radius at which enemies will detect you.

Necrolord – Transcend the Flesh: Separate your soul from your body for 20 sec. Your soul is invisible and untargetable, though your body remains vulnerable. This effect will end early if you move further than 60 yds from your body. When Transcend the Flesh ends or is cancelled, your body rejoins with your soul.

Night Fae – Soulshape: Turn into a Spirit Fox, increasing your movement speed by 30% and causing enemies to ignore you. Lasts 10 sec, or until cancelled while in a rest area.

Venthyr – Door of Shadows: Wend through the shadows, appearing at the targeted location.

There are also Class-Specific Covenant Abilities for each Covenant

You need to have completed Ancel’s quest chain – starts with quest Mayhem at Mildenhall Meadery
After that –
1) Go to the Mildenhall Meadery in Stormsong Valley and kill Flowing Honey. They have a chance to drop Annealed Honey Amulet. (Drop rate not bad at all )

2) When you get the amulet go to Boralus. In the northern area of the city at 51, 47 is a shop called Scribes & Nobles. Talk to Rosaline Mildenhall inside. After she tells you her story you’ll receive Rosaline’s Letter. She does have multiple spawn points throughout Boralus, see below for some others.

3) Take the letter back to Mildenhall Meadery to Ancel in their laboratory basement. Give him the letter and you’ll be given a new quest called Bumbles the Bee. It sends you to the other laboratory in the cave at 73, 72 just up the hill. On the table inside is Raimond’s Secret Ingredient. Pick it up and take it back to Ancel.

4) Ancel will give another quest afterwards called Let’s Bee Friends. It’s a daily quest that has you create Mildenhall Growth Formula by picking up Vial of Honey Slime items from the mobs outside. You use them to create the formula which is then fed to Bumbles next to Ancel. You can do this only once a day and after seven days you’ll receive the achievement and the pet, Bumbles. (Does not have to be 7 consecutive days)

Rosaline can also sapwn at other ponts – including
52.7 47.9 – Scribes & Nobles (stairs to shop entrance 51.5 48.0)
