Nazjatar Bodyguards

Bodyguards have powerful abilities to help you in combat against the forces on Nazjatar, but you will need to Rank them up to access their entire powerful arsenal.
The main way to level your bodyguards is by doing their dailies – You can select a bodyguard to accompany you for the day by clicking on the Deepflame Campfire in Mezzamere or the Calling Conch in Newhome, and it will give you an option to choose a bodyguard for the day. Once selected, you cannot change your bodyguard until the next daily reset.
Each Bodyguard can reach a maximum of 30 ranks, with 300 Experience required for each rank.
In addition to the daily quests, there are rare items that can drop around Nazjatar. These items can be given to a Bodyguard, and award extra experience! If the Bodyguard is not the one you chose for the day, you will be able to turn this item to them in Mezzamere/Newhome
Bodyguard Experience Rewards
There are many rewards that can be gained by leveling your followers.
Reaching certain rank thresholds unlocks quests that can award certain items.
Notable rewards include:
Reaching Rank 5 with a bodyguard gives a quick quest that leads to a chest. One of the rewards in the chest are the Ceremonial Ankoan Scabbard/ Vibrant Sea Blossom, which grants 400 Reputation with the Waveblade Ankoan/Unshackled.
Reaching Rank 20 with a bodyguard has them give you a token of their appreciation. This reward differs from bodyguard to bodyguard:
Neri Sharpfin grant a snapdragon mount, Snapdragon Kelpstalker
Poen Gillbrack grant a snail pet, Lustrous Glimmershell
Vim Brineheart grant a toy which transforms you into a Kelfin, Book of the Unshackled.
Achievements
There are a series of achievements involving ranking your bodyguard up.
Each bodyguard has a series of achievements for ranks:
One for Rank 10, One for Rank 20, One for Rank 30
Earning a total of 6k experience between all your bodyguards awards Nautical Battlefield Training – achievement allows you to be able to purchase rank 3 Memory of Lucid Dreams artifact essence, from Speaker Utia for 50 prismatic manapearls.
Reaching Rank 30 on all 3 Bodyguards awards Aqua Team Murder Force.
This achievement is part of the Nazjatar meta achievement, Undersea Usurper, which awards ‘of the Deeps’ title and the Snapback Scuttler mount.
