Steps taken to unlock all on Loyalty difficulty:
(Sanctum upgrade level 2 you do not need rank 3)
Note: All challengers are incredibly easy to defeat on Loyalty difficulty as Pelagos with either Herald’s Footpads or Phial of Serenity & no charms.
The innkeeper a few feet to the left of Poalone sells a nice little box that contains lots of reagents so you don’t have to farm anything except shards.
- Do the intro questline & gather up Soul Mirror Shards (you will need a total of 45 to unlock all challengers.)
- Beat the first 3 on Courage first to be able to get the quests to unlock the next 3 opponents.
- Finish the quests to unlock the next 3 opponents.
- Defeat the next 3 on Courage to unlock the first 4 on Loyalty difficulty.
- Beat one of the bosses on Loyalty & the quests to capture another 3 will become availible.
- Finish the quests to unlock the final 3 challengers. (Note: Athanos is not needed.)
- Defeat Mad Mortimer & Thran’tiok on Courage difficulty to unlock Loyalty for the rest of them.
- Beat the rest of the challengers on Loyalty diffculty.
