1 Enter the cave and use the 6 Major Protection Potions. Run through the fire barrier and the felbarrier.
2. Use NoggenfoggerElixirs until you obtain the skeleton transformation effect. Run past the Diligent Watcher
3 There will be 2 barriers, make your way to the vines (not the blue barrier) and use a charge of Scotty’s Lucky Coin. You can now walk through the vines
4.There will be a pool of water in this room which contains some stones. Collect one, use it and run out the room
5 You will now have a buff that allows you to walk through the blue barrier
6 On the other side of the blue barrier is a stone golem. Use the Dire Brew and walk past him
7 There will be 3 paths to choose from, make your way up the ramp and to a barrier which is transparent and slightly purple. Use Ethereal Oil to pass through it
8 Inside this room, there will be a stone. Use GordokOgre Suit and WinterfallFirewater. Interacting with the stone will give you a buff: Mark of the Second
9 Leave this room and head to the path which is blocked by a gate (note: The path to the egg may now be open, do not enter it yet)
10 Use Pygmy Oil until you transform into a gnome. Walk through the gate
11 Summon Perky Pug and use “Little Princess” Costume. Interact with the cube and select <Place arm beneath cube>. You can now leave this room, and head towards the egg room
12 Before you can cross the water, READ the plaque , CANCEL (right-click) the Winterfall Firewater buff and USE Scroll of Intellect. Do NOT jump straight into water – walk past the rock with plaque and down to shore and cross from there (jumping straight in can lead to being teled out as I found out and after a google found this to be a common problem) You can now interact with the egg and receive the pet

Pygmy Oil – 1 pygmy suckerfish for each oil you want (wowhead recommends 10-20 oil and 20 oil usually takes about 15 pygmy suckerfish since it procs a bit)
Major Arcane Protection potion (makes 5) – 1 primal mana 3 mana thistle
Major Fire Protection Potion (makes 5) – 1 primal fire 3 mana thistle
Major Frost Protection Potion (makes 5) 1 primal water 3 mana thistle
Major Holy Protection Potion (makes 5) 1 primal life 3 mana thistle
