Legion Transmog Competition – What will you be wearing the day the Legion comes?

Since ancient times, people would often decorate their homes in monstrous effigies, or dress in demonic attire in an attempt to ward off the very fearsome visages that they represented. Faced now with the very real prospect of invasion by the Burning Legion, will we be able to garb ourselves in armour so terrifying that it would strike fear into even the most fearless enemies of our known universe?
Let’s find out!
From now until the end of October, 2015, None the Wiser – Saurfang will host a transmog costume contest to see who the most fearsome combatant of our guild truly is. Dress up in the most demonic/dark/evil attire you can find, and submit your screenshots either here to our Facebook page, or email your submissions to our WordPress page at – nonethewiserguild0@gmail.com
Entrants will be ranked by popular votes, and judged per class (Death Knight against Death Knight, Shaman against Shaman, Hunter against Hunter, etc.).
Voting will not commence until the beginning of November, so you have plenty of time to get those rare boots or skull-crested knickers that you’ve always wanted. The voting system has yet to be finalised – but will most likely be an online poll for guild members that will allow you to vote for your favourite entry in each class.
PRIZES
The winner of each category will be able to select from a number of wrapped gifts, each of which will contain a random level 25 rare-quality battle pet. You can always trade between yourselves if you so desire.
The winner of each category will also go into the final draw to win the GRAND PRIZE – a Corrupted Hippogryph pulled from the very twisting nether itself!
(http://www.wowhead.com/item=72582/corrupted-hippogryph) – This is a TCG Mount, so it’s reasonably rare! This grand prize will also be chosen by popular vote, but between the winners of each class.
RULES
1. You can enter as many characters as you wish, but only 1 transmog set will be entered into the final vote (you can send multiple mogs/screenshots, but we can only select 1 image to vote on, so you will have to pick just one before voting begins). Additionally, only 1 character per player will be submitted into the GRAND PRIZE pool, in the case that multiple characters win their class comp.
2. Appearance-modifying items/toys/forms will not be accepted. i.e. Any toy that adds or modifies your characters appearance in any way, potions that do the same, or forms (such as Shadowform for Shadow Priests). You’re being voted based on what you’re wearing, not how sparkly your new toy is.
3. Legendary items will also be disqualified – I know they look awesome (that’s kind of the point), but this is a transmog competition. If you can’t transmog its image, it can’t be considered legitimate.
4. In some cases, where a current-level item can be equipped & suitably mog’d, we will allow for the wielding of a weapon that is not standard for your class. This will include allowing hunters to wield Polearms if they wish (as they will be able to do so legitimately come the Legion pre-patch). You will have to maintain your primary armour type, however (so no cloth-clad Warriors, ok?!)
5. Entrant must be a Guild member at time of voting

Go get some scary-looking transmog gear and submit your screenshots. You have a couple of months to submit, and the final winner gets an awesome mount prize!
