Blizzard has published “Reunion,” a Battle for Azeroth comic on Jaina Proudmoore. This is the first of three comics leading up to the story of Battle for Azeroth.

After Jaina’s absence in Legion, she is slated to play a major role in Battle for Azeroth. She accompanies us as we arrive for the first time in Kul Tiras. After disappearing for most of the leveling in Kul Tiras, we need to rescue her.
In this comic we learn about the wounded pride of Kul Tiras, the relationship between Jaina and her mother, Jaina’s doubts on her past decisions, and the political role Lady Ashvane plays in Boralus.

Blizzard has published “The Speaker,” a Battle for Azeroth comic on Magni Bronzebeard. This is the second of three comics leading up to the story of Battle for Azeroth.
Magni, after becoming pure diamond at the beginning of Cataclysm, broke out of his prison at the beginning of Legion. He is now attuned as an envoy that talks on behalf of Azeroth, warning us of the systemic corruption the world-soul was slowly going through.
Magni is slated to play a major role in Battle for Azeroth: As one of the only beings that know what Azerite is truly capable of, he provides players of both factions with Heart of Azeroth, a gift from Azeroth herself, and pleads to both factions to attempt to heal Azeroth’s massive wound, instead of exploiting Azerite for their own gains.
In this comic, we learn more about Magni’s family. In between pondering how to help Azeroth, we see flashbacks of Magni interacting with his wife and teaching a young Moira how to fight. The challenges Magni faces in communicating with Azeroth parallel the difficulties he faces with Moira, who seized the opportunity to make a new life for herself with the Dark Iron Dwarves after feeling devalued by her father.
